Who We Are?
The XSEED Incubation Program is a collaboration between Researchers from INSEAD Business School and LMKT, designed to support early-stage businesses through structured training, mentoring, and networking opportunities. Our program provides research-backed learning and findings, ensuring that founders gain both theoretical and practical knowledge to build and scale their businesses.
A Glimpse into our Journey
XSEED’s first cohort spanned 1.5 years, providing structured support through training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help early-stage businesses grow.
The journey began with a 3-month research-backed training program designed by INSEAD Professors, equipping entrepreneurs with essential business strategies, from market validation to investment readiness. Upon completing this training, businesses were awarded a Training Completion Certificate in recognition of their progress.
Beyond the training, participants engaged in monthly events, covering key business topics, and received one-on-one mentorship from industry experts. They also had opportunities to network with peers, professionals, and investors while participating in monthly check-in calls to track progress, receive feedback, and refine their business strategies.
The 1.5-year journey concluded with a Graduation Day, where researchers from INSEAD attended to meet the entrepreneurs and personally award them their certificates.
Following this, an Investor Day was hosted, where selected businesses pitched their startups to a panel of investors from diverse industries and backgrounds. This event opened doors to potential funding, strategic partnerships, and new growth opportunities.
The Impact we have made
Our First Cohort
Since launching our first cohort, XSEED has made a significant impact on the startup ecosystem by enrolling 336 startups, with 218 actively participating in the program. We have proudly supported 54 women-led businesses, making up 24.8% of our participants, and fostered a diverse sector representation, including education (15%), e-commerce (14.7%), healthcare (10.6%), social media and tech (9.2%), among others.
Through hands-on learning, entrepreneurs have applied practical techniques such as A/B testing, business model canvas, MVP testing, and customer journey mapping. Our program has empowered founders to validate their ideas, refine their business models, and attract investor interest while building the foundation for long-term growth.
